i use a shared adsl cable connection with my neighbours.i want to know if there is any free software by which i can know how much kb/mb i use on a daily basis on downloading,uploading and browsing the net.

Are you able to have a look at your account at your service providers Home page
I can access all that and more on my service providers home page I go to my account Then to my usage

Being shared might be a different issue
