From the way you phrased this question, I'm assuming that you're a woman? If so, and this man is truly a homosexual, then he is not developing feelings for you more than platonic... that's just not how they are wired. He may be bisexual, in which case you need to explain to him that you appreciate his friendship but that it will never be more than that because he's too much of a brother figure to you. Just be firm and leave no room for doubt.

If he raises the issue with you or tries to show (what you regard as) inappropriate affection toward you, just tell him that you are flattered by the attention, but you are straight as an arrow, definitely only into girls and don't feel the same way about him. There is no reason why you can't keep your friendship with him, as long as you both understand the limitations.
