the question of the ages! no "one" started the human race. we as humans crawled from the ocean when the planet was born billions of years ago, and have evolved over time to become what we are today, with a little help from some e.t. super-advanced civilization that does not reside here.

This is an interesting question, I only recently found out that there was a time when two diffrenent humans lived on earth at the same time, homo erectus and homo sapiens, the first being smaller and less developed by h sapiens.
