Apple iPods work with PC's and Macs which are running Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows XP SP2.
For Macs they work with MacOS X 10.3 or higher.
The only difference you will notice with the Celeron M is the performance will be lower than Pentium chips.
The iPod however will work without a hitch...

The ipod if it is the 5G model that is the latest one with the video it need the WinXP Service Pack 2 without which it wont work the only Question Arising here is will the intel celeron M processor work in Xp it work cos i have a pc with celeron M. So the ipod wont hav any problem with the computer by any means its the operating system thats important.
