My wife said that the doctor said that it's not a good idea to shave down there right now. Why is that? Is that true?

No. It's probably not true. Realize that your wife won't be able to reach down there to shave at some point. If you want her shaved so bad, offer to do it for her. However, first I think you and she need to have a heart to heart talk about this issue. How would you like it if your spouse pressured you to shave your 'boys' regularly, even if you had a big beer belly?

this is not actual. there is not any influence to at least something. purely can get extra sturdy to do in a while. even as abdomen receives too huge, a woman has 2 selections: both shave with out seeing, or believe a guy to do it. Any lady that receives inflammation from shaving, isn't shaving wisely. there is not any outcome on the baby, or the mummy if executed wisely. And the former better halves tale about shaving - is actual any incorrect way round. It became that once a woman became in exertions, it became known for her to be shaved. Now, the concern isn't even presented up anymore. i'd really have a exertions nurse help with the delivery in any case!

What my doctor told me is that if you do not shave your pubic area reqularally already than do not start as it may cause infections with new cuts and such. Thats the last place you want an infection while pregnant. Not only that but if you really want her to shave you may have to help her (depending on how far along she is) My man has had to shave me down there for the last 4 months. It's been that long since I have been able to see my vaginal area...

It depends on how far into the pregnancy she is. If she's in her 3rd trimester it is very, very difficult to do and can hurt herself. If she's about to pop she could get an infection there when the baby's born. That is why the doctor's stoped shaving that area during labor.

Maybe she said that because she doesn'y want to shave and she figures if you think the Dr said it you wouldn't push the issue. I have never heard that its not safe, etc So if your wife wants to I don't see a problem... but if she doesn't leave her be.

It's not a good idea because a pregnant woman should be avoiding any and all possibilities of getting an infection.

Um, that's weird. Perhaps it's to help keep out bacteria that could potentially harm, or kill, the baby.
