First find out the cost of starting up your own business like that. I'm a guy so I don't know anything about the pedicure and manicure business, but I'm sure it's popular.

After you find out how much the cost is to rent/buy a property, attain proper equipment, hiring 1 or 2 employees, build spas, maintainence, and many other factors, advertise your business as much as you can with flyers and communication with people walking around and such. And when you first open a business, give about a week of free trials for customers, 1 free trial for each person, or something like that, and make sure you do a good job during those trials so they are impressed and they will be willing to come back to your business.

Start out small, and gradually build to be big, that's very important. All businesses started small and got bigger, so don't overdo it thinking you have to be the best right away. It'll take time, but do your research and I'm sure you'll be successful. Good luck to you.

I made an acquaintance who told me about her nail spa in Singapore....NOT EASY. She pooled in about $20,000 with a partner and they offered pedicure, manicure and eyebrow threading. They hired 2 other girls to help out in the business. They did quite well for 6 years and opened the shop till 1 am during the pre-Lunar New Year period. But they eventually had to fold up the business because the shop lease was increased unexpectedly and they couldn't tolerate anymore disgusting customers...customers who demanded for extras when they were only willing to pay for a cheap pedicure.
