I agree with tweetypie, people get married for the wrong reasons. I also think most people take marriage too lightly or not serious as the vows they are taking. They always figure they can fall back on the option of divorce if it doesn't work out.
I was with my husband for 5+yrs before we were both positive that we were ready for marriage, we both take it as a very serious matter and would never consider divorce!
I am right with you on this one, I love my husband more and more and I never thought I could continue falling in love with him all over every day!
There is no time limit to how long you should know someone or how many years you are together that says you should get married. Too many people think that there is.
If only everyone could understand that in order for a marriage to work you must really listen to what marriage vows are, and be willing to live by those vows for the rest of your life with the one that you share those vows with!
Wishing love and luck to all....

Your wife is a very lucky woman! I agree, many people get married for the wrong reasons. Girls get married because they want to have a wedding, or because they have accidentally got pregnant, or because their family expects it, or because all their friends are getting married.
Both women and men get married because they are physically attracted, they get married quickly and then when they finally calm down, they find they have nothing in common outside the bedroom.
In a marriage where partners have shared values and interests, the bond can indeed get stronger as time goes by, but not many people consider that when they choose a marriage partner these days.

You obviously take your marriage vows very seriously. I did too, but someone should've told my ex-husband. I am still alone, and that was 12 years ago. Sad, eh? I just believe that there is one person for everyone, and I'm afraid he was mine. I have never met anyone that even compares to him. He was my one true love and I would've loved him more and more every year, just like you. It's how much we loved in the first place, and when we married, did we marry for life?? That's why! You sound like a great guy and your wife is very lucky!

There are many reasons why. Many marry for the wrong reasons, there's usually a breakdown in communication and people have just gotten too lazy to work on their marriages and instead look for solutions to their problems outside of it. It's very sad and consider yourself lucky you have such a marriage. Congratulations!

When you are happy, be happy.
Maintain the same tempo with your wife.
Why do you worry about others.
Are you capable of changing the entire world of senseless people.
We find more people lacking common sense and logic.
At least I found a sensible person in you.

Your marriage is a good investment with increasingly high returns every year - like good year-on-year growth !
Some marriages are bad investments !!

Because most couples these days don't want to make the effort to keep their marriage..... they'd rather be stubborn and leave than sit and talk it out..... they give up tooo fast.
