Tiger is not only the National Animal of India; it is the very essence of Indian wildlife. But poaching and too much killing have threatened its very existence of this magnificent animal, Tiger. With the success of Project Tiger some of the sanctuaries have seen a bright light and Corbett National Park is the biggest example of it, having the highest density of tiger in India.

does this help????

dear friend,
your question is so brief. but still i will try to answer.
1) During the late Mughal reign, Emperor Auranzeb had called his rival "Shivaji maharaj" as a tiger and also called him "thron in the flesh of mughal meat"
2) in the british Reign the one who created a havoc to the british was "tipu sultan" often called as "The Tiger of mysore", he had made many battles against them and defeated them several times. at last he was defeated and killed by treachery in a battle that followed in his own fort. it is said he was killed by 12 shooters and said to have roared like a tiger when he died.
This personality deserves the best to be called as the "Indian tiger"
3) another person "Subash chandra bose" almost shook the british govt when he formed the first indian army "INA", in singapore. however his army was defeated, as they lacked food and weapons. he was also callled as "Indian tiger"

4) sardar valbhai patel- this person was mainly responsible to form a the new india. he added all the princely states into indian teritory. his powerful personality shook many arrogant princes who refused to add themselves to india. he was called as "indian tiger" and also "iron man of india"

this is all i know. hope you are convinced
