Are you sure they're mosquito larva? You must have wonder vision. You'll not kill them anyway but others things like birds may eat them.
Still water always attracts mozzies, install a pump or water fountain to give movement to the water and to circulate it.
If you have fish in your pond leave them and the fish will soon see them off.
If you have big pond watch the swallows swoop down for them.
If you have neither then use insect repellent on yourself. Or use those big, big candles for outdoor use. They're infused with repellent to keep away all the wee beasties.
Oil/ kerosene are you all mad we are trying to save this planet not destroy it! If you want a pond then you must put up with the disavantages of having one.

Introduce something that feeds on them, get a food chain going. It sounds like the pond water is stagnant, get a pump or fountain going to keep the water fresh and aerated. Mosquito larva are prevalent in stagnant water.

Just pour on some kerosene, but only if the pond has NO FISH in it.
Otherwise go to a pet store and ask for something.

Put fish in, they will eat them. Why are there no mosquitos in Tenerife? Because ALL stagnant? water below a certain height (600m?) has to have fish in it. Above a certain height they dont breed anyway.

A small amount of thin oil/kerosene, or a few drops of detergent, will break the surface tension, which is what they rely on to hang on to the surface of the water, which they need to do in order to breathe. The treatment will need to be repeated from time to time during the breeding season.
