rhsaunders is right - they're all compressible. Gas most easily, liquids with more difficulty, solids most difficult (in general) - Don't believe that solids are not compressible, the compression of solid uranium or plutonium is the basis of atomic weapons...

--Actually, all normal matter is compressible, until you get down to neutronium (where you've forced the electrons into the protons - assuming you survive the energy release). I don't know if neutronium is compressible or not....

Solids are incompressible. Both gas and liquid states are compressible but a liquids compressibiilty depends on its density. Water can be compressed very slightly, if you compress it in a metal cylinder closed to the atmosphere then you can heat it to about 120 degrees celcius before all the liquid evaporates.

Regardless of the atomic state, all are Compressible. However, with compression, heat is generated, and the state of the matter could be transformed into something else.

Mercury, at room temperature, is a liquid.

gas is the only compressible i think. Maybe gas and liquid but I'm not sure

All of them are compressible, but a gas is far more compressible than the others.
