There are *no* methods of healing by energy, and that includes Reiki, which has never been shown to work.

Reiki works just as well, and in exactly the same way as therapeutic touch, magnets, crystals, acupuncture and homeopathy etc etc It doesn't work at all by the unproven mechanism claimed. Any subjective benefits people claim is entirely due to the placebo effect. It is metaphysical nonsense. There is no credible evidence that Reiki does anything more than activate the placebo mechanism. I am very familiar with the literature and research on it, so I invite any of the adherents to refer me to studies they think are proof. They don't exist.

I have studied many, and Quantum Touch is the simplest, while still incorporating all the necessary elements. Reiki is great, but dependent on unnecessary attunements.

jin shin jitsu and jin shin do
are two types of acupressure that use very light pressure on the points to open up the energy meridians of the body. i suppose any form of acupressure and acupuncture can be considered energy work in this regard. healing imagery, hypnosis, and psychic healing all deal with energy as well. anything that uses intention is energy work. that can vary from bodywork to shamanism.

Greetings,
Yes, there most definitely is. Believe it or not, Christians use the power of the "Holy Spirit" (which is in essence the Energy by which God works) to perform miraculous healings. I have personally witnessed (not in a church) the power of God's Love by healing the sick. It takes a measure of faith, and belief - being double-minded or doubtful seem to negate the effect.

I would encourage you to seek help via that arena, or seek Christ yourself, and get with a group of fellow believers who have faith to heal, and it can be done. Don't listen to those who pray "if it is God's will" as your being ill is not in His will, if it was, why would you want to get out of His will?

Also - please continue to seek traditional medicine, or even herbal remedies, as God has provided this knowledge to us and the medicinal plants so that we may receive healing through that medium as well. Avoid at all costs the Christian Scientist movement, they have a bad track record, not too successful.

Best of all to you and your health.
