I went on Yahoo chat tonight and in the room no less than 66% of the "people" were bots "promising" sex. Jeez!

I guess you also didn't know that Yahoo supports sex groups and porn sites and other things of this nature.
I turned in someone of this type of character and they sent me back an email stating that they found nothing offensive in the material they viewed.

Whatever. sick freaks.

Ever wonder why Yahoo is mostly a free service? Because of the bots. Advertisment bots is what makes it free. Companies pay yahoo to advertise what they are selling which is mostly porn. So in turn they set up accounts which are bots that flood the chatrooms. Get used to it I don't see things changing any time soon.

Do you even know what a bot is?

A bot is a chat *program*. It's only people who are interested in sex, not programs. Thus the "bots" were most likely people, and not "people". The fact that you find those people creepy, does not make them into "people", or bots, or something else. They're still people. Just creepy people.
