Lobsters live in salt water and they are always semi-hidden in crevices or behind coral growths along the sea coast.
There are areas where they are especially plentiful, like in the US North-East (Maine!) and in the Caribbean Sea.
Because their tail and claw flesh is so delicious, in some areas they have already become a threatened species.

There is many different varities of Lobsters and they are found all over the world at the bottom of the sea bed,They live in salt water and feed on shrimps and other small creatures that live in the oceans of the world,They used to be very plentiful but due to the amount of fishing trawllers that now fish the bottom of the sea with drag nets ,they are becomming more scarce, The old fashioned way to cash Lobster and crabs was to place a small cage(lobster pot) on the bottom of the ocean, inside the cage you would place a bit of food that the lobster would smell and climb into the pot to get its lunch, unfortunately the pot is easy to get in, but almost impossible to get out(trap)the fisherman would come along the next day and pull his pot back to the surface and remove the lobster or crabs to take to the market,
Lobsters have very powerfull front claws and they can give you a nasty nip, fisherman tie the claws together using elastic bands to prevent them getting hurt,

hope this was helpfull

thanks
