If he really did then why is he not old? I mean, doink is an old wrestler? And even then, they were seen together in the ring at the same time. I guess it's just a rumor.

Eugene was only ONE of the many people that played Doink The Clown. I am a die hard wrestling fan, and I'm 100% sure about this. It's been asked and replied to on many forums, and Eugene has played Doink at a point in his career.
Eugene and Doink both could go down as some of the worst gimmicks in WWE history though......

No eugene did not use to be doink the clown. Doink the clown and eugene have been in the ring together at the same time. Also Doink the clown goes back beyond Eugene by a long way.

Eugene became released through the WWE in the course of the Signature Pharmacy scandal. He became later rehired as a coach in OVW. Doink the Clown hasn't wrestled (except raw XV) in a lengthy time period. And there has been countless Doinks, including Nick "Eugene" Dinsmore
