Does anyone know the current prevailing wage rate for land surveyors. Must be state of California and for Party Chief -- but if you know the rate for chianman/rodman or instrument operator I'll take that too -- please say which info you have. Any sites to get a chart would be great. After the holiday I will call Division of Apprenticeship Standards or Division of Labor PW Unit.

Surveyors do not have a state-wide prevailing wage. You need to go to the site below, select the county the work will be done in and find the job title. It is listed under "field surveyor." To give you a quick estimate, the party chief makes an average of $35.96 an hour in LA, $35.12 in San Fran and $35.96 in San Diego.
