No.. hence, the CIA and Scotland Yard has been fishing out "child porn" for the past 30 years around the world.
Porn is allowed in all countries besides Islamic nations. And even that is sometimes abused. Such as Bahrain.
In many countries the legal age is very much below 18. It all depends on what the "legal" age limit of the particular country is. In Mexico, the legal age is 12.. However, childporn is unlawful all the way around in Mexico. In the Netherlands, the legal age is 14... However, if it is a family of royalty through lineage, it is 16.. Has something to do with ediquette.
In Oman and Pakistan, the legal age is 16.. The legal age in Australia for females is 16, and for males is 18.
The legal age in the U.S. is 18, however depending upon states, it varies, with parental conscent.. such as Texas, 15 for marriage which was past recently, from 16, and 17 for smoking, and dating. (Not purchasing tobacco).
In Wyoming, it's at your own risk.. Same with Montana, as they also have no speed limit. Anyway-- so, as you can see, it all varies. But, on the topic of child pornography, it is unlawful around the world, as to protect children as a whole.

No it is not. There are many new laws being passed to protect children and victims.
However, due to the mafia and corruption everyone knows that if you want a video made of high quality and good looking people...Russia is where you go.
There are many documentaries on the topic, and it got pretty bad in the early 90's. However, with Putin in power and many advocates and victims pushing for laws and bans they have started to come down hard on people caught. They have cleaned up areas that are notorious for prostitution and are cracking down on human trafficking.
One of the big things has been not only pornography but the adopting of kids that are brought to the west and are abused by their "parents" and has lead to many deaths.
Add this to the declining population of Russia and this has helped to push the new laws and need to protect the kids and women.
Big step was taken by Putin this past year with his new laws/programs to help promote a boom in reproduction by offering money/aid/and maternity leave as well as health care benefits and free education (higher level) to growing families and new mothers.
So despite some bad press alot of the info is from the 90's and there is a BIG effort to eradicate the problem and come down hard on those who have the nerve to abuse children and women.

it is not legal at all ! the reason behind attention to this topic , is caused by some lately occurred things: many western families including American families, come to Russia to adopt orphans, and later those kids are seen involved in Child Pornography ! new laws are made to stop this crime, such like keeping in touch with kids even if they were adopted by western families and are no more living in Russia as well as testing the parents via Interpol and stuff like that.
In russia it is allowed to have sex starting 16 , because at this age a person become major, and responsible of his acts.
