Motlawa has it's delta exactly in the old part of the city (beautiful view...) but you probably ask about Wisla (Vistula) which is the biggest polish river
i don't think they teach about Motlawa in polish geography

It's the Motława river which is devided in Gdańsk in to the Old Motława and the New Motława
