IBC can appear as a bump resembling a bug bite or as an indentation. Either way if you are concerned about IBC go get it checked out, do not rely on Yahoo Answers for your health care. IBC is an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer, for your own sake get it checked.

Here is a link I found on the internet regarding IBC (inflammatory breast cancer) http://www.komotv.com/ibc/ I hope this answers some of your questions. Watch the video. It will give you more of an understanding about IBC. Also, I will add you to my prayer list in hopes that it is nothing serious.

Are the bumps caused by you scratching? The itching could be caused by chafing. Make sure your bras fit properly and use an unscented/hypoallergenic lotion. No matter what the cause, unless it's some sort of skin disease, lotion will probably help. Also, the aereola is much more sensitive that the skin around it, so it will seem like the irritation is only there, but it could be caused by whatever you use to clean your bra.

I've experienced some thing similar before, it was a new detergent causing irritation in the most sensitive areas. I hope it is nothing to be concerned about but be sure to follow through with your doc, and way to be observant, some folks let the little things go when they might have serious medical issues.

It may be nothing harmfull, but if it is, you want to act upon it immediately. Make that appointment today! I'm not a health professional, but a breastcancer survivor and I know that if it is wrong, each day may count. Stop worrieing, and start taking care of yourself.

Go see your Doctor! Any change in breast shape or appearance should be looked into, as should itching.
It is best to be 'safe than sorry'.
