Does he was Goodale? because i found his name in the cast but not able to recognize him in the movie
and with what Hoot killed the somalies?
what was the type of the weapon the somalis firing (the big gun) ?

The big gun was a recoiless rifle. It is similar to an artillery weapon, except it is a direct fire weapon.

Goodall was not one of the Rangers with Hoot. He was stuck with the Delta Force guys in a building across from the Rangers at the first helo crash site. I don't remember who was with Hoot.
