I really very confused right now. When I left I Long Island, I left my boyfriend of almost 4 years Corey because he was going to a university in Long Island, and I was going to Manhattan. We kind of broke up when right before I moved to the city. We didn't brake up cuz of the distance but Corey started bringing up getting married and well I wasn't for that. Even though we were in love and together for so long Im not ready to get married. When I first moved in my appartment I really missed him, and thought about going back but as time passed I started to enjoy being single and I really loved living on my own in the city. Now the problem is that I went out for Lunch with him on yesterday, I really enjoyed it because I did miss him. Then he took me to his building where he is renting and he told me that now instead of going to school in L.I he was going to school in the city too. He said he missed and wanted to get back together, but I'm not sure. I like being single now. Help Please

You need to think about the outcome of each decision you could make here (get back together, be friends, never speak again, etc.) and "try them on". Imagine living with each decision and see what feels right for you.

He can not expect you to get right back together with him now that he is close - but he sure is hoping it seems. I personally think you can never go back, but some people feel that this kind of reunion can make a relationship stronger.

There is no harm in seeing him if you want to - but don't sleep with him and tell him how you feel. That you are excited about being on your own for a while and you are not interested in anyone - and you are not sure you could recapture the past even if you tried. He may have the same fears and be glad to talk to you about it.

Peace!

Don't over analyze the situation. You and him both have a great time together. Take it day by day, enjoy your life. This is an amazing time for you both. If you miss each other, start dating, enjoy your time. If it doesn't work out for you two, at least you know you can still continue your lives happily and your world didn't come crashing down!

Live your life for the day you're living in, don't worry about if you two are going to last 20 years or 20 days. Just be happy.

why dont you give him another chance? I mean sure you love being single but would you rather wonder why you feel semi complete 10 years from now? He must love you so much to be moving there just to be near you.

Just tell him you're really enjoying being a slut right now and don't want to get back together.

you need to lay it on the line to him... he deserves to know the truth....... if you are not ready for the next step, he needs to know, so he can choose what is right for him.... to move on or to wait in hopes you will some day be ready... be honest with him...... God bless
