I would hope that your resume would have been run through spell check or you won't get an interview. When appearing for an interview it is good to maintain eye contact, show that you are an intelligent and well-spoken individual, and do some research on the company, explain why you would be an asset to them.

Dont think about the toughest questions which cannot be answered. Be confident that can change everything in your interview. everyone expects you to be very confident even if you lie also. All the best. Keep it Short and Simple.
Everything is yours. All the best.

the most important thing you need to remember when you are going for one is to carry a hard copy of your resume.always be confident of yourself and of your abilities.speak in a very precise manner and answer your questions with intelligence as it is the only thing that sets you apart from others.also do remember to maintain eye contact and be formally dressed.

The first thing that they see is how you look. Dress for the occasion! If you look scrungy, show off your tattoos, or look unattractive for any reason, the game is lost unless you are exceptionally fitted to their job.

Always look your best. Show up approximately ten to fifteen minutes ahead of the scheduled time. If they offer you a beverage, don't accept (it's a trick question). If they ask you to tell them about yourself, confine your answer to work related material, mention any work or school related awards or achievements you accomplished and stick to your work experience...they don't really care about your private life.

If you need a minute to answer one of their questions, take your time. If you are nervous, don't be afraid to tell them..if they are any good at it, they will help you to relax. Be sure to mention you are a team player (they are looking for people who will get along with the staff) and then mention you also have leadership qualities and would like to seek advancement in their company or organization. This might be a good time to ask them if they promote from within...it shows interest.

When you are winding it up, and they ask you if you have any questions, ask them if you could have any material about their company or their policies. This shows you are serious about their opening. Also ask them when you can expect to hear from them, and that you are looking forward to working for them.

Try to do your "homework" on them before you get there. It will help you to be prepared and to impress them with your interest and knowledge...and that you are willing to put in the time it takes to learn about them, too.

Try to really listen to the question to figure out what they are actually asking you. Don't talk too much, nod your head when they are talking, to show them you are listening. Make eye contact when speaking to them. Be aware of your posture...sit up straight for example. Don't offer too much information outside of what they are asking, unless it is something they need to know to help you get the job. You don't want to clam up on them, either...there is a balance. Less is more.

Don't be afraid to speak highly of yourself. If they ask you something you don't know, tell them...there is no shame in admitting you simply don't know...or you can ask them to rephrase the question...This will give you an extra minute to answer...or tell them this is something you would like to learn about.

This is not the time to discuss salary or benefits unless they bring it up. Wait until you land the position before you venture into this area. Remember, they want to know what you will do for them...not the other way around.

Try to relax...and be your professional self...and don't forget to smile! I hope this helps. Good luck.
