I have a 1997 chevy crewcab dually 4wd I want to lift it to the sky but I don't want to do the straight axle conversion. I am hoping to find someone who makes a 12 or 10 inch kit. If you know of anyone please forward me there contact info. Thanks everbody. Anybody know what size tires that would allow me to clear?

The biggest IFS suspensions I have ever seen is 8", If you add a 3" body lift that will give you a total of 11". You will also need to find out what your state laws are as far as bumper height.
I know that in the state of Missouri, where I live if the G.V.W. tag on the door jam is 10,000lbs., which your truck would qualify for, there is no bumper height restrictions.
You should try to contact a local 4X4 shop and see what they can tell you about the legal issues.
Also, if you lift a dually, you are limited on tires you can run on the rear. Some places also have restrictions on how wide your overall width can be, as well as how much tire can stick out of the wheel well. And you will also need spacers for between the rear tires, so they don't rub against each other(that weakens the sidewalls and will cause them to blow out).
If you go with the right amount of lift, there are some companies that advertise in the 4X4 mags. that sell kits to mount tractor trailer tires and wheels(22.5" & 24.5") on your 1-ton truck. I would assume that since you are doing this to a newer truck, you are not going to do that much four-wheeling with it, so the tractor trailer tires may be the best choice due to roadworthyness and they last a really long time(but they can be very pricey.

Chevy Dually Lift Kits

Look under your truck, one ton trucks have a solid front axle so you wont need an IFS kit. That said, The biggest IFS lift kit on the market right now is 8 inches I believe and 12 inches for the solid axle. IF you lift 6 inches or more you have major modifications to do to get it to work. But with a 6 inch lift you should be able to run 44 inch tires. Your axles wont last with 44's but you can beef them up to handle the extra weight and torque load. You will have to change the gears also if you want to have any power. Hope I have been helpful.
