I am a man and like most other men, find them hideous!!!! Is it the fear of having them removed? Come on ladies! They are an absolute eyesore and there is NOTHING beautiful about them! I posted this question simply because of seeing Cindy Crawfords post here....Cindy! Get that nasty thing removed!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you superange....cosmetic surgery doesnt apeal to me either! Give me a flat chested gal with a big heart and lotsa love over a boob job any day! You dont dress up a funky mole tho!!!! LOL!!

Maybe they should be forced to look at old ladies with moles to see what is gonna happen to the supposed beauty mark. When it is pretruding out of their face and has those 2, inch long hairs growing out of it. Or just show them what skin cancer looks like and how all those people had little beauty marks on their faces too. It's all thanks to Cindy croford and others who convinced theese woman it was sexy. Mean while most of the woman with them are far from sexy.

I'm no fan of Cindy's by a long shot. But you know, Marilyn Monroe had a similar mole that was considered a beauty mark by many people over several generations, and no one complained about it and lots of people thought it looked good on her. That same mole of hers is where the facial piercing of the same name (and same position) came from.
Everyone has different tastes. You don't like them, fine. Other people have no problem with them.
Plus, not everyone can afford plastic surgery to get them removed. Unless they are life-threatening, most insurance companies refuse to cover the costs for vanity purposes.

As for having moles removed, that is totally up to the individual. When I was in my teens, I got so depressed because of a mole on my leg that I scraped it off with a pair of scissors. Now I am left with a scar, which will be there permanently. Reading your stupid post reminds me of the reason I did this in the first place. If I were you, I'd keep your mouth shut and your UGLY thoughts to yourself.
Only insecure people like yourself ever feel the need to tell someone else how to look or live their life. Look inside yourself and tell me you are 100% happy with yourself first before you decide it is your god given right to bash others. I have a feeling this won't be an easy task.........
I'm not saying moles are beautiful, I'm saying it's not your place to make women feel bad about themselves because you personally have an issue with it. Like the poster above said, it is your problem and not theirs. Keep reciting that to yourself and maybe it will sink in what a superficial jerk you are. Have a nice day : )

luckily, i dont have a mole on my face & wouldnt be 2 fond of it if i did. but i do have 1 near my belly button, which in other ppl's opinion is extremly sexy. yeah, there are a fair few celebrities who are well know 4 that, such as Cindy Crawford. Madonna had her's removed i think. i dont find facial moles attractive, but i think it suits Cindy, makes her lok sexy 4 some reason & sets her apart from other supermodels. although most ppl find it un-flattering, i do not aprove of surgical removel. anything un-natural like boob-jobs or plastic-surgery freaks me out.

Well we call them beauty marks cause that is the only way we can make are self feel better about the ugly things. Most woman would have them removed but that does cost money. You paying. By the way you get more and more as you get older. Its an endless battle so we just call the beauty marks to make us feel better. You guys do the same things about some of your body parts.

No I do not believe they aren't beauty marks, some moles come later in life, but obviously you are some who cannot and never will find the right woman. There is no one out there that is perfect. How many moles are on your body? Woman don't like looking at them either!

Yea I am happy that I don't have any - I would get them removed if I ever did -
Do you really think that is Cindy on here - come on now. But yea her mole is her trademark which is just weird... ewww. Women will call many things things that they shouldn't be called - so calling a mole a beauty mark is just a way of making them feel ok about it or it is just what their mommy always told them..who knows - but - take it off ladies - take it off. And that goes for guys too - not just women you know :o)

This girl I know has a flat mole above her lip..lol it doesnt protrude off the skin or anything but shes always saying she has a beauty Im like "my dude, no!!"

and she is very serious when she talks about it..lol
