I get paid 11 hrs a day but I am sure I work 9 hrs a day all 5 days a week and I do work 9 hrs a day and if he cuts me one hr then I will be working 8 and getting screwed on one hr so can someone figure this out?

Well, by cutting your hours from 45 hours a week to 40 hours a week, your boss keeps from paying you overtime. Eliminating 10 hours of overtime saves $165.00 (before taxes).

Don't know why this is so hard for you to figure out.

And if you are getting paid for 11 hours but only working 9 hours, then it sounds like your boss is the one that's getting screwed.

I suppose he is going to maybe put you on a day that starts or ends one hour earlier. Maybe he is going to give you a one hour lunch period unpaid, or maybe he is going to give you 4 15 minute breaks through out the day, or 2 thirty minute breaks unpaid. I really couldn't say, but I would be damned if I would work and not get paid for it.
It is illegal to not pay someone for the work they did for you if the work is good work and not substandard in any way. You can go to the Employment Security Division in your county and file charges with the Labor Relations Board. He will have to show reason for not paying you if you worked the time and he hasn't.
