to me it was IT WAS HOOOOOrrible!!!!! I watch the MTV music awards every year and I did not like this one.

It was a complete debacle.
The years past have been much better, this was totally horrible. I think they should look at this and think of either bringing it back to Miami or make it better in New York. They should not play that again. The performances were OK but who ever produced the show should be shot.

I thought they were okay. Jack Black didn't do such a great job as I had hoped and I am totally not into the hip-rock groups that one all the awards, underdogs or not.
I think that Shakira, Rihanna, and Nelly w/Timberland should have won some, especially sice Shakira's Hips Don't Lie was the most spun song, ever.
But I LOVED Beyonce's performance, it was amazing, I loved the song too. It was almost like she had just walked in on her man with someone else and she was ripping that b*tch a new one. I was right on with her song, I'd feel the same way!
I did love all the graphics though, especially on the top of the ceiling and around the crowds.
And that weirdo that was on stage when the Video of the Year was announced....weird and rude since it was such a big award.

I thought Jack black was going to do a better job.
What a dissapointment.
Plus why was it all hip hop/rap?
Every ******** performence.. and award allmost Where all hip hop/ and pop.
There was only one band that played and the was the all american rejects.
AND ONLY ONE rock music award.
I even have to admit sadly that last years with p diddy was better than this years.

It was overall "eh". Jack Black sucked. The whole joke about Paris Hilton being fat was DUMB (and in poor taste considering how many young women are struggling with eating disorders and negative body image).
OK GO's, Shakira's, and Beyonce's performances were the only things really worth watching. I was impressed to find out how many videos Hype Williams put together---I had no idea.
I think Panic! at the Disco reminded the world that not everyone can sing LIVE. whew! that was painful to listen to, even though I liked their video.

1st and foremost Black Jack sucked, who in the hell was theat reject rock band he had. The performance were good. Beyonce the Best, TI, Shikira, I kind of tuneed out on the rock (not my bup of tea!! The award winners were random. Like Yuk mouth Chamillionaire for best Rap, and Pussy cat doll (I love them) but they did not have best dance video. And Black Eyed Peas (I love there music, but for best whatever they one was a no! It looked like all the artist whom haven't won award on other shows did on MTV this year, Shakira, Christina, Beyonce, TI, Chris Brown, Neyy F. didn't take nothing home ehich were shockers. Hype deserved his awards he's like the most creative video producers ever. Pink was hilarious as ****. And what was up with the Paris Hilton Jokes (Krazy)!!

Yeah I agree this years awards totally sucked a**!! The whole show including the performances sucked!! Last years was way better!! I'm not even sure if I'll be looking forward for next years!

ok..at age 33yrs...i sat on my azz and watched the mtv video awards..which i havent watched since...the early 90's....and now i know why. Half of the ppl nominated i hadnt heard of..Panic at a disco ..that's the name of a group..hey ok..whatever. however i thought their performance was pretty cool. I loved Christina Aguliar's song, she sounded great and has come along way ...beyonce' ..not a fan of hers..but i have to give her props!! she rocked it...justin wasnt bad..cant believe i actually typed that! and jack black...what..why..what...how...i dont get him...he was so not funny. bring back chris rock...

guy that **** sucked ***!!!The worst of all grew to become into Panic! on the Disco and and the different gay bands like fall out boy!!!! And that fairly sucked while Avenged Sevenfold gained that one award!!!guy i ******' hate that band and the hot 2000's bands!!!!!this is all approximately 80's heavy steel and new wave and oi punk~!!!

It sucked...I cant beleive Panic! at the disco won they suck badly and I fell asleep sometime through so i missed it I am not bothering next year!
