This will seem like a random question, but bear with me. In any of his books (I think perhaps it was the da vinci code)... does a character have an apartment in venice, facing some church?
If this rings a bell, could you look up for me what church that is? or plaza?
I'm trying to remember it, but all I remember were that there were a couple of Da Vinci code fans there exclaiming about the apartment etc.

on edit: so it wasn't the da vinci code. If it was in fact Angels and Demons, could someone *please* still look up the plaza or whatever it was? It faced a church... and I need either the name of the plaza or church....

no, it definitely definitely definitely was in venice. I was sitting in a restaurant, when two dan brown fans who had been following one of those guide books, got into an argument over which building the character had the apartment. As I recall, it went something like this: "well, it said it was pink, but that it was facing the church. However, the only pink building doesn't face the church, so which do you think it was?"
(after ten minutes of this, i felt like screaming HE MADE IT UP! THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT EXACTLY LIKE THE BOOK!" :-P )

no, it was a Dan Brown book. The question was not about one I had read; there were these other tourists, and they were talking about him and a book of his, and they had a big fat "guide book to dan brown's ____"
