Munna (Sanjay Dutt) is a tough goon with a heart of gold. He confronts every situation with his unique streetwise attitude and humour. But even Munna's successful 'dadagiri' methods are tested when love takes him for an unexpected historical tour.
Munna falls in love with the voice of popular radio jockey Jhanvi. Her effervescent "Good Morrrrning Mumbai" makes Munna's heart skip many beats. While listening to her shows, he dreams of marrying her.
Jhanvi is also bowled over by Munna's rustic charm. The only problem in this perfect love story is that Jahnvi mistakes Munna for a professor of history and invites him to give a lecture on history to her family. And that is where all the trouble starts.
Munna doesn't know how to sort out this entanglement. His trusted buddy Circuit (Arshad Warsi) comes up with a bright solution. And then, the most unusual thing occurs in Munna's life - he encounters a figure from history.
What happens when the present meets the past?
There is another problem in Munna's life and his name is Lucky Singh (Boman Irani), a contractor hankering after money. But Lucky Singh's daughter, Simran (Dia Mirza) challenges traditional ideas with her independent views and shows her father that there is more to life than money.

This time around, Munnabhai loses his weapon of violence after an encounter with Bapu himself and is mentored by Gandhi himself in using the weapons of love and non-violence.
The film is about finding the Gandhi in all of us, but never sounds didactic or preachy. Rather, it makes you laugh and cry through the whole journey during which it touches various issues of parental neglect, stagnation of the older generation, corruption, evil builders, bad manners, superstitions... the works!
Munnabhai is in love with a radio jockey, Jhanvi (Vidya Balan), and this time around does dirty work for a builder Lucky Singh (Boman Irani). Singh's motivation is to get his daughter married to a very wealthy man's son, and he will do whatever he can to ensure it happens.
Vidya Balan lives with her grandfather in a bungalow called 2nd Innings shared by 6 other elderly men who have been left by their children and society. This is the very bungalow Lucky Singh needs. The complications that arise from this form the crux of the story as Munnabhai lies to win Balan's heart by pretending he is a history professor.
To add to Munna's confusion, he starts seeing Gandhi, who warns him of impending trouble if he lives through his way of the gun. Once Munnabhai's world crashes around him he adopts the Gandhian principles of truth and non-violence with hilarious and heartrending moments.

munna bhai is back and how.we all love him so i will tell you the story but not entirely so you go and watch the movie and enjoy it.munna is in love in this one with a radio jockey played by vidya balan. on the show everytime she greets "good morning mumbai ",his heart skips a beat.as the quintessial dreamer he listens to radio all day dreaming of marrying the radio jockey.meanwhile his bhaigiri business is good as usual with the help of circuit.in this happy story there is one problem jhanvi thinks he is a history professor.and she even invites him to give a history lecture to her family.munna is despeartely trying to come up with a solution when circiut comes with an idea and wat follows is pure entertainment.so enjoy!!!

munnabai is in love wiyh radio juockey vidya balan.vidya on october 2 conducts a quiz on mahatma gandhi & the who wins will be able to meet her.sanju is so impressed with vidya,he needs a chance to meet her and so participates in the contest,where he is supported by loads of proffesors.here he acts as an history proffesor and the story continues.
