With the magnetic forces proven to be moving now, after 20030 years, we are in the era of another magnetic flop, and in the next 1000 years we will see the affects to the degree of stretching, and loss of gravity. So what's the point of having kids to live through all of this? I'll be dead long before it happens, but why should my grandchildren have kids? And yes, it's gonna happen, but because of science, not because of any religion or anything.

Please NEVER respond to my seldom questions if you don't have a email address for me to respond to. It's not polite.

Pole reversal isn't a recipe for doomsday. It's a perfectly natural occurence that will screw up traditional navigation for a while, but it has nothing to do with gravity or "stretching."

I think the stretching part you saw had to do with being sucked into a black hole. I viewed the clip of the 20/20 site.

Anyways, 1000 years is a long time. Look how far we have come in just 100 years.

Don't live with a fear of tomorrow and neglect the beauty of today. Manipulating your grandchildren's natural lifecourse by pointing out horrible things that might happen in their life is unfair---did anyone ever do this to you? I think the best response to 20/20 is to read the Bible and pray for peace and comfort for today.
