Not really - the oil companies are quite capable of raising their prices on their own without any help. The government simply hasn't done anything to stop them.

No. Global pressures. China & India have up & coming economies and they are hungry for more oil. U.S. needs to get busy with more oil exploration on it's own lands rather than being the hired hands & brains in the Middle East to make Arabs richer.

The Oil Company's do pretty much as they please
because Bush will do nothing to stop them. They
earn an obscene amount of money, far beyond a
fair amount of profit.
Democrats will take that money away from them
by Windfall Profits tax and use the money for the
betterment of all Americans.
