Living in Las Vegas, I would recommend that you check out Red Rock Hotel & Casino as its known for Hells Kitchen.
So much to do not just this weekend-every day of the year.
MGM-Lion display, Tropicana Hotel & Casino for its display of human bones, Sirens of TI at the Treasure Island. The list goes on I would recommend that you log onto Vegas.com or LVCVA.com and see what you find that interest you! Tons of well known acts and concerts are also happening this long holiday weekend.

Whatever you do, get a Players Club card at every casino you walk into.
Out of state ID will get you at least discount meals or free play.
Lady Luck casino gives you a very cool pin for signing up.
Players Clubs cards make great souveniers.

Enjoy the sights but don't play on the Strip. Very tight slots.

It you want pix of you with LV landmarks in the background without a ton of people... go to the rooftops of the parking garages.
Luxor... great view of the entire pyramid ...
Wynn... great shot with the Stardust sign and entire Stratosphere Tower.
Bellagio... total Eiffel Tower in back of you...

Boulder Station or Sahara, best cheap buffet.
Silverton... 120,000 gallon aquarium. ... mermaid shows.

Pix of yourself in front of Welcome To Las Vegas sign.... park at Klondike, walk across street.

Go drive thru Red Rock Park at end of Charleston Bl.
See Hoover Dam.
So much to do for free.

BE sure to see light show at Fremont Street.
Free parking there.... park at Golden Nugget Casino garage....validate ticket at Players Club.

Great lower cost hotel... Silverton.
Go to Players Club... say Chris sent you...

used to work there.
