I suck at English and Im really good with math so i know what it feels like. The thing about algebra is practice make perfect. You probably should get a tutor if you're really serious and also make sure u practice some problems when u get home. Try and remember the steps. Good Luck!!!

You can get better at math by practice.

1) Do every problem in the book, if you can't--make an appt with your teacher for extra help

2) Get a tutor

3) Ask teacher to recommend a book for extra work, or ask teacher for extra work so that you can get more practice.

The more you see and do it, the easier it will be for you to get it done. Make sure you understand what you are doing.

Trust me, I was awful in Math, I struggled all through hs, I now have a master's degree and it included classes like calculus. It was hard work, I did everything I said above, but the tutor, I could never afford a tutor.

Try going over all the algebra work that you have done again as if you know nothing. Make summaries whilst you do this and do as many questions as possible. I know this is very time consuming but it works!! Math is not entirely a very dfficult subject, people who struggle with math should not try to do questions in a whole but break it down to as many small sections as possible and work with that. Basically, work with whatever equations you are comfortable with. Afterall, all you are doing is applying simple rules and formulas to get an answer.

Hope this helps

A student I know was very weak at math. I got her a book with explanation, exercises and I worked out a timetable for her to review and practise the lessons. This involved daily excercise over the period of 1 month (during her vacation). The improvement is remarkable. I didn't even have to spend much time with her, she kind of helped herself.

Some people just suck at math. I'm one of them I won't deny it. I can just never grasp all the crap you gotta learn. Then again I got straight A's in English.

You will need tutoring. The other things to consider is doing the problems over and over again, this really helps.
