Usually. You are responsible for what happens in your home/ on your property. If you were ignorant about it, though, you can try to explain the situation but unless you hae a good way to prove that you didn't know about it, you're pretty much screwed, especially if it was being distributed.

I'm not sure but I think the owner of the home can be liable for drugs being on his property. They will probably have to prove that they had no knowledge of the drugs being on their property.
That's why it is important to know who you are socializing with. It can bring on unwanted problems.

There are cases of people losing their home, and argument I did not know did not work. They may have relaxed this law, but would not bet the ranch on it.

If you didnt know that it was there......but um good luck proving that it can be negligence or ignorance... Also you could say that its medicinal and everyone have cancer cells in there bodies so you could get away with that one
