Do you think "Dead Rising" is just a ripoff of "Dawn of the Dead"?

I do not have this game yet, however, it looks great and from what I hear it is just that. Even if it is ripoff that would not make it any less of a great game. Sometimes I pretend that sometimes games are other representations of other things. I am playing an alternate game of Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion as if it were a better sequel to Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain.
