It sucks, haha. I was noticing as I get older, gravity pulls more of my parts closer to the ground. The other day, I thought someone was following me, and when I turned around, it was my butt - draggin' on the ground!! Scared the crap outta me!!

Centrifugal Force caused by an object moving at a specific speed at a constant rate in relation to the mass (not size- they are different) of said object is what causes gravity.

I would rather have it- Astronomical Studies, as well as Mathamatical Calculations backed by Computer Simulations have proven that without gravity, our bone density actually diminishes, as well as our muscle strength. The more time we spend away from gravity, the more our muscles and bones are depleted, because we're not using them. Why have density, if you don't need it to suppoert yourself?

This creates a problem when contemplating long spacial excursions. Scientists have studied the effects of lab rats' ability to tell up from down when they are born in the absence of gravity. A rat born in the presnce of gravity can tell up from down- therefore, if you put the in water, they will swim for the surface. However, if you put a rat in water that has been born in the absence of gravity, it can't tell up from down, and consequently, the rat drowns.

So Gravity not only gives us the ability to do all the physical things we do, it gives us our balance.

So no, I wouldn't want to live without gravity.

lol .. that's the funniest question so far in the science gategory.

Well, it's not up to me whether I would like to have gravity or not, Gravity "the earth inner power" is the force responsible in keeping our planet steady and rotating uniformally in it's orbit.

It's the force responsible in keeping the right distant between us and sun .. otherwise we would have crashed into the sun because there is no repelling force from our side.

You gotta have gravity otherwise we would have no atmosphere like other places with less gravity force like the moon. and so so many other things ..

What really makes gravity, this is a mystery up till today, no body really figured it all out yet, but Einestien is the latest scientist who outlined major aspects of gravity and described it's strength.

rotation of the earth causes gravity. Without gravity life would be very difficult, things would float away, driving is impossible, you lose all of your muscle mass and become very weak. There are tons of negatives. It would be fun for a little while but just try cooking a meal in a pan with no gravity. You cant. we need gravity.

It's better to be in the ground most of the time btut the idea of floating in mid-air is somewhat inviting. But imagine if there really was no gravity and given the circumstance that we're alive, it will be hard to control our body to go from one place to another since we can't control gravity but then and again I'm not even sure if it'll really be hard to move without gravity.

oh i love gravity. thats how i make sure when i drink water or eat food, it goes down the right way. it would be pretty cool to fly around once in a while, but thats what jet packs will be for in the future. every object has an attraction towards each other and thats what makes gravity.

Have it of course!
Gravity just exists!Nothing makes it!!
It's the attraction between a body(it could be anything) and Earth!
Without gravity we would all be flying..We could even not exist as well..Noone really knows!!

Gravity isn't just a good idea; It's the law.

Without gravity, there will be no planets and stars.

I don't have an answer for you. But I know you will gain some knowledge if you go to www.youtube.com and search for elegant universe. That is a great film. it is free also.

Rather have it as it is. It is a force field, generated by bodies and its intensity is directly proportional to the mass of the responsible body. The gravitational field of the Earth, holds on to all bodies resting on its surface e.g., human beings, the atmosphere, the water in the oceans and other water bodies, etc. The gravitational field of the Earth, prevents us from floating out uncontrollably to the hazardous outer space, and die from lack of air, water, radiation effects, collision with asteroids, etc.
