I got an ipod video and i saw one that had movies on it. It's the same as mine and i thought how did they put the movies on there. So if anyone can help please do so

You do not need QuickTime to transfer movies, if they are in MP4 or MOV format just add them into iTunes like music and it will sync those movies onto your iPod next time you sync it.

If your movies aren't in the format mentioned you can convert movies using QuickTime PRO which has to be purchased from Apple or you can purchase or download 3rd party software which is either free or needs to be bought.

iVideo To Go For iPod / Videora iPod Convertor are some examples and they're pretty good...

No you don't have to use QuickTime; just make sure that the video files are in a mp4 or mov format. Right click on it and selct "Open With" and select Itunes.

you don't need Quicktime; all you need to do is log onto Itunes and buy a video for $1.99, then hook your ipod up to it and the video goes on your ipod automatically
