As well as quarantine there are certain breeds of dog which are illegal in Australia. It differs from state to state, so you might want to look into that.

You will likely have to put your dog into quarenteen and pay for it for 6 months, but it is possible that if you can pay for the fees involved and your dog is fine then you can bring your dog.
