I keep seeing sneek peeks of the show "House" with Dr. House running etc. Does this mean he doesn't need his cane anymore? Does anyone have a clue what happened to him?

During the last episode he had a "dream" when he was shot that he could walk without a cane. As they wheeled him into the ER to treat his gunshot wounds he woke from this dream and said he wanted to try some experimental drug (the one he dreamed about) that might improve his limp. That is how they ended it so I'm not sure if it took or not yet. Next week is the priemere for new season i think =)

Whiteknight seems to have it. House was shot, and for an entire episode believed his leg had been fixed. During his surgery after being shot Cuddy used a new/experimental drug that would fix his leg but could cause brain issues. By the end of the episode he realizes that he had hallucinated it all. It cuts to him being rushed into the O.R. after being shot and he asks for the experimental treatment.
The previews show him running, since his leg is now presumably fixed (for the next season) and I think he believes he has special healing powers. (from what I've gathered in previews). -perhaps a side effect of the experimental treatment. There is also some talk that Foreman may get to stay in charge...

In the last show of last season he got shot. Then while he was out he had a dream that he was awake and working but in that dream he read his records from the surgery to remove the bullet and instead of giving him anesthesia they put him in a coma to reboot his brain to see if that gets rid of the pain. Well anyways he realizes its a dream kills a guy to make himself wake up. He wakes up as they are pushing him into surgery and tells them he wants the type of medicine that puts you in a coma. So I'm thinking that its going to for reals reboot his brain making his leg better. I am so excited for the new season of House.
Btw isnt Dr. House so very sexy I mean come on he is super smart a huge asshole and a drug addict. ~swoon~ he is every womans self destructive dream

I don't really know! I watch House faithfully and I believe it has something to do with drugs and experimental surgeries. The last episode of the last season confused me to no end, but I think they all eventually tie together. I do know that they are going to start stressing that House isn't exactly "Mentally Stable." Be sure to watch the premiere on 9/5!

Last new episode, he was hallucinating about after the surgery he needed due to another medical problem, and he was all better, so when he came around and was being wheeled into surgery he said for them to do the procedure he dreamed they did without permission to fix his leg, and the new show starts after they fixed him for real, but it could only be temporary, so be prepared for the old house, he is supposed to be more emotionally unstable when he is physically better. Comes on next week!

He's supposed to have had a change of heart after being shot. Basically, instead of being sarcastic and grumpy all the time he's going to do a complete 180 and turn into a happy optimistic person that's happy about life.

Yes but reading an article about House, they stated that his happy cheerful self will only last for a short while then we are back to his grumpy self

When House got shot last season, Cuddy operated to remove the bullet. When he was unconscious, she took the opportunity to help him regain the strength in his leg because she couldn't bare to see him in more pain.
