No pressure, just wondering how you feel about immigrants, generally the legal kind. My parents are immigrants, so try to be nice or you will unleash the hell and fury within me.

To the cherokee guy, you sound very selfish and protective of yourself but ignorant to the whole wide world around you. But unless you can remove all those white people and foreigners from Africa, I don't think its fair to say we can't immigrate to a different country.

I go to a school where almost everyone is an immigret. My best friends are from oter places. When someone comes to america or a better life, that is fine by me. It is great, America, and many other countries are mde great by immigrents. I feel alot of joy when I see am immigrent that appricates America. Some people (born here) always talk so bad about our country, with out relaizing that in many countries, they could be killed for that. People who come to this country should idently as Americans. You can't live her and want to be mexican, or whatever. They should embrace that they are an Amercan now, and that we want them to be. There is a way to keep your traditons and adapt to american ones.

I do not like illeagle immigreation, however. My gradparents were immigrents, my friends are, your parents are, but they were leagle. I think is someone comes here, they should respect our laws, and if they come here illeagly, then they arn't doing that. It sets a bad name for immigrents also. I think we should allow more people to immigrate here, that why they won't have to break the law.

i've got not got a undertaking with maximum immigrants, my 2 friends are Russian-Estonian and chinese language. I have not have been given any undertaking with the folk who come over right here any paintings. they are attempting to make a existence for themselves. that's what the Irish did while they went to u.s.. i'm getting pissed while human beings hate all immigrants, that's rather a case of pot calling the kettle black. I mean, what proportion Irish have emigrated over the final 2 hundred+ years. i actually do unlike while 2 mothers and dads with English as a 2nd language develop their new child devoid of English. It rather impacts the youngster's English and the youngster misses out on lots at school, the two contained in the college room and out contained in the backyard. they are in a position to't carry a communique with the different sons and daughters and that merely isolates them. My pal Kitty became born and bred in eire and her English is adverse. She's sixteen and nonetheless does not %. up small issues in English like I do. It sucks for her.

We all come from immigrants. Maybe not all of us. Native Americans don't...that's why they get the title "native" bestowed to their ethnicity.

Anyway, no, I am cool with it. I think it's influence from different cultures that makes life interesting. Ever experience a town with culture and one with none? Even if the one with none was safer, I'd still prefer to live in the town with culture.

I say bring 'em but I do think it should be through legal means and have them be responsible citizens. Paying for taxes and such. I'm not against a program to help those who are here illegally become legal but there is something that bothers me about tax money going to programs for illegal immigrants.

I have absolutely NO problem with immigrants. I grew up with kids who were from different countries, so it's totally normal for me. I'm Canadian, so we tend to accept alot of cultures as our own. I honestly never thought of the issue because that's how I grew up and wouldn't change a thing. I wish all societies would accept more people from all countries and stop being bigoted and racist because of other issues which they have nothing to do with. I hope your parents don't feel any tensions and are treated with dignity and respect also.

I have absolutely no problem with immigrants, as long as they're legal. My family immigrated here many many moons ago, but they did it legally, through Ellis Island.
What I DON'T like is when they march down our streets carrying flags from another country, or singing our National Anthem in another language, calling us names and DEMANDING respect from us !

They dont really bother me...please dont beat me up! Kidding! lol but they dont. I know it bothers alot of people because jobs and what not but nope I really dont care. I like when people come here and get to enjoy the land of oppertunity and freedom but then again, sometimes I frown upon the idea because America is so cold hearted and materialistic...not good...especially for people who came from countries where love and family actually mattered. Sorry so long lol

that it is great that they are here to try and make a better life for their children.its like they are giving their kids a gift and more opportunities then they had.i have alot of respect for them cause i know how hard it is to learn a foreign language and to be able to come to a new country with different customs and rules must be strange.most of our grandparents if not great grandparents were immigrants anyway so people shouldn't hate on them.my grandparents on my dads side came from puerto rico, and my great grandma on my moms side came from Italy.all to make better lives for their children.i admire your parents.

I'm gonna have to agree with Gunslinger. Immigrants are fine, they just need to immigrate somewhere else. Go to Spain or France somewhere where they don't steal our jobs. I'm full blooded Cherokee, so kiss my @ss if you say I'm a racist or bigot. You are all a bunch of immigrants who stole my grandfathers' land. Go back to Europe, deal with your problems instead of running from them and bringing them with you to a new country.
