It is yet just another case the Boulder Police Department and the Boulder DA has managed to screw up. They are like the Key Stone Cops.
Handwriting experts said that he is the one that rote the note, he confessed to the crime and the Boulder DA let him go.
They have no idea how to handle a crime up there. They let the crime scene get messed up by the Rameys and their friends.
He may not have been the killer but he was in on it. He knows who did it.
Lesson to be learned? If you want to get away with murder, go to Boulder.

The prosecution made a serious error in indicting him in the first place without being sure of the evidence.. Any idiot can make a confession...they do it all the time...it is part of their sickness. He definitely is a sick puppy but so are many, many others in our society. The prosecutor has to try and overcome some serious heat for her horrible fiasco. She probably will be fired if she hasn't been already. In her haste she has let all of America down by giving us false hope. The DNA evidence is the defining factor in the horrible death of that precious little child. Luckily it is there but we just cannot convict any and all the human degenerates that are out there for a crime they did not commit.
There is no statue of limitations on murder and if justice prevails and we don't give up there is still a chance that this horrible beast will pay for his crimes.

The guy is just a sicko looking for attention. I knew as soon as his wife (who hates him) said that she was with him during that time that he didn't do it. This guy has a sick fantasy... and maybe he even belives he was with her. He's obviously been obsessing over it for years. It's quite common for such a confession. The say that the family has corroberated that he was not in Colorado at the time of the murder + his DNA did not match the DNA that was found on the girl. And maybe Karr was just trying to get out of Thailand for something he did there, though I doubt he's that smart..

There were inconsistencies with his "confession" from the beginning. He said that he drugged her, but she had no drugs in her system. He also said that it was an accident, but the evidence speaks to a more heinous crime. His ex-wife also said that he was in Atlanta at the time of the murder -- so there was always a lot of doubt.
The scary thing about this guy is that he believes his own lies. He is a true psychopath. He would pass a polygraph because he believes he really did it.

He confessed to the crime, but the police could not place him at the scene of the crime. Evidence from his family shows he was in another state at the time of death. He was seeking his time in the media. IE; his 15 seconds of glory.

His confession has been determined to be false. The way she died (she was hit in the head so hard her skull split in two and she was garroted, that is a rope was wrapped around her neck and a stick was inserted into the rope to tighten it) there's simply no way it was an accident.

There was/is no case against him. He confessed only to get himself out of Thailand. He was about to get arrested for child pornography, and he knew he would not last in a Thailand prison so he confessed. He had been following the case since it happened so he knew a lot about it. They should send him back to Thailand to face charges there.

A lot of crazy people will confess to crimes they did not commit so that they can be associated with that person. He had an obsession with her and that is why he confessed.
his family has given strong alibi's that he was with them for christmas (in georgia i think) and none of his DNA is at the crime scene.

Well he was not the criminal on this crime, I believe he is a sick man but smart enough to let the government pay for a first class ticket plane ride home from Thialand for him. Some insane people are pretty clever.

Even when Karr goes to California, he won't be doing alot of time... so basically if you undo a few knots, Karr's a free man...
