I notice I remember more of my dreams when I get too much sleep to the point that I am tossing and turning in bed. I imagine we only remember the dreams we wake up during. So, if you are tossing and turning for a particular reason, you remember more dreams, and thus feel like you have more.

I dream stranger dreams when I am under more stress or have a lot of things on my mind.
My dreams get very vivid when I have eaten something right before going to sleep.
Don't know if this will help, but you never know.

Did your normal sleeping routine change. Did you get noisy neighbor that might be waking you in middle of Rapid Eye Movement. Do you have cold disturbing breathing and waking you in middle of REM. Some confusion is experienced by most when they awake in middle of sleep cycle. If you were having usual sleep cycle you were having dreams just not remembering them. Will leave all the Freudian stuff for one trained in that area.

Hi...
You could have alot more stress, worries more than usual,
I know when I dont dream that means I am at peace with myself and the world.
So if you have many things disrupting your thoughts
,just let go of them and move on.
Try not to dont think so hard......about situations you encounter on a daily bases
You said you are having you vivid dreams
I hope they will be happy and pleasant in the near future...or none at all

You were having dreams that were not well-clothed in symbolism so your conscious mind would not allow them to enter in order to protect it. Later, your dreams were so symbolic that your conscious mind allowed them to enter and now you're trying to figure them out. Most people wake up feeling disconnected if they awaken just after their dreaming. Don't let it scare or bother you-your unconscious mind will always protect you.

Changes in hormones.
After my 1st child was born, I had the craziest dreams!
I could breathe underwater
I was hunted by gollums
I could swear everything was real.
Also, not eating for a while can bring on some pretty wild things

It has something to do with your brain. Having no dreams does not mean no dreams. It just means you don't remember at all. Having lots of dreams could mean you have stressed or excited about certain things. Your brain is not restful in terms of nightly activities

that happens to me when i change the place i sleep. i just moved to a different place and ive been having weird dreams every night after not dreaming for months. i think it usually comes from some sort of change, whether its in the place you sleep, your diet, how stressed you are, or any number of other things

it is probably your subconscious being in a better position to communicate to you now your inner world (as opposed to when you don't remember having any dreams).. it's considered a sign of personnal spiritual transformation and empowerment.. however you must be able to discriminate the suggestions and hints that your dreams are telling you..

Try to remember the main things from your dreams. It might be your subconcious telling you something you need to know. Dont worry, I had the sorta reverse of that. But you shouldnt be too worried.
