I've noticed that when I was much younger, 6th graders looked like high schoolers and now even myself as a Senior and classes below me kids are very short and look about the size of 1st graders. Are we going in cycles of height? I don't even look my age at all, it's weird.

Generally (considering the average height of males and the average height of females), heights are increasing generation by generation. This seems to be true around the world. There are individuals who are short, to be sure, but there are also taller individuals, at any age.

So, I believe height is increasing, but not going in cycles.

Height is actually controlled by a lot of different genes, so because of this it is hard to predict what is going to happen. But in general people are larger than they were 200 years ago.. So we are essentially selecting for the taller genes..
