It can be, but not necessarily. Your growth is regulated by other parts of your body, you can grow more but be glad you are 5'6" at seventeen. Hell be happy your 17 if you have a heart condition. Stop worrying about how tall you are and strart enjoying life. Height doesn't make you a man... but how you live your life sure does. Rejoice, that you are as tall as you are. God Bless you... and go out into the world and seek happiness as you live.

A healthy heart will go a long way. Make sure you are following your Doctors orders and or Medication. But YES, you can still grow. The vitamins make a big difference and of course a really good diet. SO, eat well, exercise, take a good multivitamin and before you know it; you'll be looking down at all the little people.

If you are a young man, I would say you can still grown in height and weight.
My hubby went into the Marines at 23 and gained 50 pounds and 3 inches in height in under a year.
Discuss this with your dr, especially if you have a heart problem and see what exercises and food regime he would recommend,
Good Luck.

according to science 75% of boys stop growing at 20. that's why you're an adult at 21. however girls stop growing at 17.
the other 25% may stop between 17 And 25.
I would worry more about my heart than my height
