Do scorpions make good pets?

No they do not make good pets. they are considered exotic. To explain the reason they are not good pets allow me to explain:
1.) you can not hold, pet, cuddle, or even touch your scorpions unless it is for changing there environment.
2.)They require extensive care. Many believe you simply can put them in a little box with a heater but they require a lot more.
3.)They remain under their terra. Scorpions spend a very large portion of their lives hiding. So having them is almost pointless becuase you will not get to see them often.
4.)They are dangerous to a slight degree. Each sting will make the allergic response worse the next time you get stung. So if you intend to clown around with your pet expect each sting to be worse then the last. If you do not wise up to this fact they can kill you.
5.)loss of interest- You can not teach them new tricks, how to play fetch and so on. They are insects and their lives are simple. Eventually some owners simply ignore them, and they starve to death or dehydrate. They are not particularly interesting.

I do not recommend the ownership of scorpions.

A lot of people have scorpions for pets. They won't harm you if you know how to handle them.

I think the tail/ the pointy part where the poison is should be cut off first. Then, u can have them as your pet but be careful of the claws or whatever you call it...........

Highly doubt it! Only imagine what happens when you tick them off! Then again...guess it depends on your sign!
