I would certainly jump around a lot because it would be fun but only during recess. The rest of the time I would be thinking...looking down at the earth itself...wondering how we have managed to come this far and why. Wondering, in this age how people still deny even the possibility of extraterrestrial beings when I, on the moon am one myself. And I would dig, I would dig a lot and look for something, anything in the soil that says "Moon" to take back with me.

I would stick two poles into the ground, set up a hammock and read a book with the earth as backdrop. What a vacation that would be! Only way I could get some peace and quiet..lol

I would be totally awestruck - I would realize how awesome God is and praise him. I would gather up as much artifact as I could - because I'm a collector! I'd write poetry as fast as it came to me. I cherish each moment, realizing the pure rareness and joy of being on the moon.

Declare independence and start my own off-Earth country based on libertarian politics and transhumanist philosophy. My fellow explorers and I will build a new country from the ground up, one that will within a lifetime grow to such glorious magnificence of freedom, commerce, research and technological progress that the primitive warring nation-states of Earth will pale in comparison.

Oh wait, that's actually my plans for when I land on Mars. :-)

Dance, watching the stars, the planets and Earth!
Try to "feel" as much as I could!
Lay down for a moment and watch Earth (stars, planets, later the Sun) from Earth's satellite!
