Get someone to help you; it's hard to get a good grip on the backing, especially when you're just getting started. And, it's hard to see what you're doing, especially if you have long hair to get in the way.
OH - and get a female to help - or a male with a pierced ear : ) I had a boyfriend "help" one time and it didn't go well.

If you have been rotating them regular and you think they're healed, the backing is the problem. Piercing earring backs are easpecially tight. If its a butterfly back, try to expand the curls away from eachother a little. Also starter earrings usually have a tiny notch at the end of them, so it can take some effort to get them off. Try to wiggle your nail in between the curls and the post, if you can get this loosened s a little the earring should come off a little easier. Once you do that try to get a good hold on the earring and then yank on the back. If it is too painfull try agian in a week when your ears arnt as sensitive. Or enlist a friend. Needlenosed pliers might help you. But seperate the curls! Ohhh and thats only if youve been rotating them and cleaning them regularly. Been there done that!

Ok, they may be stuck because there is dried pus. Try soaking a cotton ball in alcohol or peroxide and holding it to the back of the earring. Bend your ear lobe so the alcohol or peroxide gets behind the part that holds the earring. Then try twisting the stud gently. Once it begins to move, grasp the holder (back) and wiggle it until it slides off. You should clean your earlobes each day in this manner. Although it has been a month, don't keep the studs out too long or the holes will close.
Once you get your studs out, clean the lobes again. Soak the studs and backs (holders) in a capful of alcohol or peroxide and rinse them in warm water before putting them back in your ears.
Hope this helped.

Just remove the backing.
I dont know what kind of stud you have in there but if it was pierced with a gun, chances are it should just pop off.
If you pinch thr front, you can usuially remove the back easily.

if you haven't been rotating them, the skin could have grown up around them, making it hard to take them out. twist the earrings first. (it may hurt a little). then grab the earring with one hand and the earring back with another, and pull them off. then use peroxide to clean your ears to prevent infection. disinfect the earrings with peroxide before putting back in.

Get the lady who pierced them to take them out.
You need to be careful. It's not stupid at all.
I went through alot after I had mine done.
