The only rational order is the order that humans give things. It's only our percetion of things that give it order.
A tree is a tree because we have a definition and restrictions of what a thing is to make it a tree. If it fits what we define as a tree then it is a tree, if it doesn't then it's something else that is not a tree.
The tree still exists but only humans know it as a tree.
The order we see in the universe is not the only way to view the universe. Just look at how everyone and every culture on the Earth has a different view on the universe.

i would assume it would mean something similar to disco is dead, imo, but if you believe god is the 'begining and the end', 'the alpha and omega' revelations, blah blah, then it makes absolutely no sense. a being of that nature (or supernature) to just up and die one day, has no rationale!
..but if you believe him to be a simple answer to lifes difficult questions of a simpler time(eg: 'lightning strike are vindictive acts of gods on humans for punishment, not electrical imbalance-or whatever they are). then it makes more sense. just like saying disco is dead. seeing it as an end of an era.
