you dont need anything artificial to make you taller if your in high school still you are still growing and wont stop untill your like 18 or 19 im 20 and have only just stopped growing.
if your parents are short then theres no doubt you will be short too. you cant control these things.

U r still a teenager u would keep growing till u r 21 so u don't need to worry about ur height&u should have a nutritious diet rich in calcium,minerals&protein to increase ur height.

If its a hereditary thing then you cant do anything much but you could still try doing stretching exercises and pull ups coz i know that it helps to make you a little taller.Im only 5'1 but i guess thats better than 4'8 which my mum is....so believe me stretching exercises do help to some extent.All the best.

Genetics is what determines how tall you are going to be. Plus if you are male you don't stop growing untill about sge 18. Female it is about 16 or 17.
