I haven't heard anything from SR for a few years, leading me to believe that when they got fat and old, they gave up on being rock stars, Jon Bon Jovi is an actor now, and Crue is a parody of themselves.
I'd go with Skid Row, their "Slave To the Grind" album.

It's tough. I've seen all 3 live. Motley Crue had a GREAT stage show with theatrics - the epitome of 80s metal live. Bon Jovi had the most accepted songs and played a GREAT ampitheatre show. SkidRow was young and raw and had the most "attitude". But, to pick one just as you ask, I'd have to say Motley Crue.

Bon Jovi! I wasn't even alive in the '80's, but I know and love their music. They have also adapted the best to changing times, which is not always easy for a band. However, the concrete evidence here is that Bon Jovi did the duet and CMT Crossroads special with Sugarland. Had Skid Row done it, I would be saying Skid Row! Anyone who hits the Country charts with THE Jennifer Nettles has all of my respect! Not to mention, though, the fact that Jon is my boyfriend, he just doesn't know it yet! *Pssst* Don't tell Richie, I don't want him to get jealous.
