Sticky Fly Paper, or Cricket Paper as the case may be...

Go into the garden and cut some leaves from a bush or plant, put them in a dish.

The cricket will be attracted to them. Then, when he is sitting there munching the leaves, pop a lightweight cloth (such as a pillowcase so as not to hurt him) over the whole thing and deposit him and the leaves outside where he can't annoy you.

Crickets, etc., are much happier outside than in our houses.

I tried this and it works.

Here is what I do it's worked in the past. Kill all your lights (at night) that's the time they chirp anyway. Get a flashlight move the flashlight in the area where you think it's at when the light rolls over the area where it is, it will stop. Then spray it with Raaaaaid, or trap it an let it go in the garden.

Oh and if it's under your fridge, GOOD LUCK!

A cricket in the house is supposed to bring good luck. Maybe the best thing is to just enjoy the music.

Very sly indeed, go with a plate of delicious leaves and then smash it or take it outside.

i totally agree with Sarah B on this one...bring in leaves into your house and put them in the kitchen...it will come out and sit on them>> believe me...
if this doesnt work....try the slug catching trick:
put a plate of beer in the kitchen. slugs are attracted to beer and if you leave the beer tray where they are at night, you'll see a whole bunch of dead slugs in your tray at night.....believe me>>ive tried!
i no i no its gross but it workd for slugs.

i really hope you get that cricket out....good luck!
