If anyone one has any links to old Saturday morning cartoons from the past they would be very much welcomed.

Barely. Wasn't there always a broken moon on the background? Sorry, I don't have any links. Sometimes you can find tapes of old cartoons and shows on eBay.

I don't know abt which cartoon series you are talking abt, but I remember something similar. I used watch a cartoon series which had barbarian in its name.
In that series there was a He-man like looking guy, who used to have a laser like sord that can be minimized.
the other two members were a female sourcera and and alien who had great strength. I used to live that cartoon.

No doubt. Ookla was like his Chewbacca. Boomerang was running it for a minute, but it hasn't been on lately. Great show. Hanna-Barbera got it done back in the day.

I loved the dinosaur-looking "pets" they had that shot energy bolts out of their "horns". Good stuff.

Great solid art-work and very good stories! What a wonderful series that was.....They just brought a line of action figures out early last year--they were very cool to see!! Great question!

Ariel! Ukla! Riiiiide!

But seriously, for a while Boomerang was showing reruns. But I haven't seen it in the last year or so, at least. (Boomerang is an awesome cartoon network that DirecTV carries. )

It was a great cartoon for the time... ethical, moral, bad guys with high pitched voices... what more can you ask for in terms of multi-racial, multi-cultural relations... and a subtle strike against the KKK in that most all of the wizards were bad guys.
